[BUG] Added grey outline to pgs plain white subtitles

Hi all,

When I play plain white subs in PGS on Ugoos AM6B+ with CoreELEC, , it adds a tiny grey outline to them - even though there shouldn't be any. Both in mkv and m2ts files. The problem wasn't there in .m2ts remuxed files, when I played them on Sony X700 (bottom image).

I tested both the T3a and T3b separately, and my conclusion is that the T3a supports true HDR PGS subtitle display. The T3b seems to have converted HDR PGS subtitles to SDR PGS subtitle display.

That is correct and intentional.

No, if the video output is HDR PQ, then the HDR PGS subtitles should be displayed according to HDR, not SDR, unless the video is output as SDR.

Actually, between T3a and T3b there were not subtitle related changes. You must've been referring to T2a?

Also: Which video output are you using? VS10 HDR10 to HDR or native HDR PQ?
