From 555a9856ffa7e5d496669570518379fcaa8db7ab Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: erKam Date: Sat, 10 Oct 2026 22:34:16 +0000 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] feat(mcp): show page URL, title and background state in list-pages list-pages took URLs only from the router snapshot or the HTTP report, so a page with no router and no HTTP setup was listed as "unknown", even though every component tree push already carries the page URL and title. Titles were never listed, and a tab in the background, which stops reporting, looked stale to an agent reading "120s ago". The URL now falls back to the component tree report when the HTTP and router reports have none or are more than the page TTL older than the tree. The table gains a Title column, and pages the page-visibility state lists as hidden are marked "(background)". URLs go through redactUrl and titles through redactMessage and a clip. --- apps/docs/src/content/agents/tools.md | 4 +- .../src/__tests__/agent-tools.test.ts | 23 +++++- .../src/__tests__/page-platform.test.ts | 82 ++++++++++++++++++- packages/devtools/src/devframe.ts | 42 ++++++---- packages/devtools/src/rpc/pages.ts | 79 +++++++++++++++++- 5 files changed, 203 insertions(+), 27 deletions(-) diff --git a/apps/docs/src/content/agents/tools.md b/apps/docs/src/content/agents/tools.md index c1d2bd3d..ca7b6534 100644 --- a/apps/docs/src/content/agents/tools.md +++ b/apps/docs/src/content/agents/tools.md @@ -41,7 +41,9 @@ If `page` names a tab that doesn't report that data, the tool answers `No page < ### list-pages -Lists the tabs and [Angular Native](../getting-started/angular-native.md) apps that report to the server, newest first: page id, URL, platform (`browser` or `Angular Native`), seconds since the last report, and which inspectors report.
