I'm at APS Global Summit (March Meeting) this week, so I don't have time for MOPAC development right now. I've been waiting for the JOSS release, and the plan has been to update all citing info, including in MOPAC output files, after I get back, which will include a patch release.

I'll think about putting a BibTeX snippet somewhere, depending on what is provided by JOSS on the paper's webpage.
