I think it would be quite useful to be able to specify a Status reporting interval less than a second with the -S option in argus. This was possible with the 3.x version. I have found it to be useful particularly when monitoring Fixed Wireless/mobile networks where the network provides you with a higher bandwitdh in the first second/few seconds and then goes down to a lower level. With a subsecond reporting interval this is quite easy to observe using argus
