Problem

While yes there is a link that tells you how to clone a repository using the git command line within the preparation part. It would be much more beneficial to show a guide how to clone the repository with either through the CLI or with Android Studio. Especially since this tutorial is catering to people that never used git, so having a step by step guide would be very beneficial for them.

Include a step that goes in depth on how to clone a repository with the CLI and Android Studio, with Android Studio being a secondary option. Ensure to step by step with the process and to include screenshots along the way. The cloning step should either extend or replace the Open Project step entirely.

I think this would be helpful. I suggest putting the steps as a separate link that the user can click on, optionally. This will let them still focus on the configuring emulator (main part).

I agree with this! Having a dedicated step-by-step guide for cloning would be very helpful for beginners. When I went through the software engineering first steps, the cloning instructions in Step 5 were clear and easy to follow. A similar approach here with both CLI and Android Studio options would make the process much smoother for new mobile interns.

This is a great suggestion. Setting up the local environment is often the most challenging part for beginners, and a generic link can be easy to get lost in. Having a clear, copy-pasteable CLI command showing the exact repository URL (e.g., git clone https://github.com/open-learning-exchange/myplanet.git ) would be a big improvement. Additionally, presenting the Android Studio GUI cloning method with step-by-step screenshots will be incredibly helpful for interns who prefer a visual interface.
