Add support for github copilot

Feature Request: Add GitHub Copilot support as a model provider, not just Claude Code & Codex

Description

It would be great if onUI could support GitHub Copilot as a model provider.

Many developers already have access to Copilot through personal subscriptions, organizations, or the GitHub Student Developer Pack (including me). Allowing Copilot to be used inside onUI would let users run prompts using an existing Copilot subscription instead of configuring another external provider.

If this feature is something the maintainers would consider, I’d be happy to help test it or develop it.

Good news — onUI already works with GitHub Copilot and other MCP-compatible AI agents (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.)

Setup

1. Install onUI with MCP support:

   curl -fsSL https://github.com/onllm-dev/onUI/releases/latest/download/install.sh | bash -s -- --mcp

2. Add onUI to your AI agent's MCP config. See our MCP setup guide for config locations and formats for VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Claude Desktop.

3. Restart your AI agent and verify onUI tools appear.

Alternatively, use the Copy button in the onUI toolbar and paste annotations into any AI chat.
