Hi maintainers,
The official MCP servers repo itself uses .mcp.json.
ToolPin is a lightweight open-source tool that adds:
- Committed
mcp-lock.json with artifact + tool surface hashing (including input schemas)
toolpin ci + GitHub Action drift gate- Vendor-neutral spec
Would you be open to a demonstration PR adding a lockfile + ToolPin workflow as a canonical example for the ecosystem?
Completely opt-in. I can do the work in a fork first.
