I followed the steps you did but the app is not getting through I always get the following error
CodeDeploy agent was not able to receive the lifecycle event. Check the CodeDeploy agent logs on your host and make sure the agent is running and can connect to the CodeDeploy server
I know that there are some differences between AWS at the time you did the course and today but I respected all your steps and code.
