Description
I use a pretty similar setup to you (awesome job btw!!) and I got recommended by a friend to use mackup, it creates symlinks for well known configuration files (including custom ones you can add) to dropbox.
It can automatically backup and restore, recently used it to switch macs, worked great!
Not affiliated with mackup by any way, but thought you would find it cool!
