VSCode extension future and debugging experience

Hi @philliphoff,
could you share some insights into the future of this extension?
0.8.0 Preview was released 5 months ago and it seems to be behind main dapr release.

There are issues reported in both repositories:

• Process component zipkin error: incorrect type exporters.zipkin dapr/dapr#2960
• Can't debug multi-run dapr solution (The task dapr cannot be tracked) #319
• Unable to find task after rebuilding dev container #320

Is the extension going to be updated?
What's the recommended way of debugging DAPR microservices? Attaching to process? Using daprd? Using dapr run -f?
Is it better to use devcontainer?

I've been having all kinds of issues with daprd hanging, port being taken, gRPC servers failing to start etc.
