UI freezes for 3 seconds every Ctrl+Shift language switch

Steps to reproduce

The whole UI freezes for 3-5 seconds each time I switch language with Ctrl+Shift. EN->RU or RU->EN likewise.
In application parameters Ctrl+Shift seems to redraw to screen. E.g. If I disclose some sections in parameters, then press Ctrl+Shift the UI freezes for a few seconds, then the screen is redrawn and all sections are closed again.

This is super frustrating and slow to chat with an LLM in a terminal when you require 2 languages.

I found out that the duration of freeze is proportional to how many tabs/windows of Terminal are opened. No matter, how many tabs in active window, but how many in total.
At ~5 tabs the freeze does exist, but it's quite small. At ~30 tabs the freeze is very palpable, about 4 seconds.
