Dataverse CodeApps Roadmap

Hi,
With all the bugs with using pac code add-data-source for adding a Dataverse tables and now all the Dataverse documentation removed, can you confirm if Dataverse connectivity is no longer supported?
Keen to know what the roadmap is or if we should just be using SQL Database Connectivity instead?
