Use in combination with PageBuilder

Is it possible to have both PageBuilder and this markdown editor extension active on a Magento installation? We have quite some CMS pages designed with PageBuilder, however, we have our product descriptions in markdown.

Can the editor be chosen or does the markdown extension replace the Page Builder?
