On Android 10 and above. Fail to connect 192.168.*.* (target IP).

On Android 10 and above phones, when I try to connect to Wi-Fi using the ConnectivityManager class's requestNetwork method with WifiNetworkSpecifier.Builder parameters, the phone system returns a successful connection, but it cannot connect to the target address, Fail to connect 192.168.. (target IP). Access is successful after connecting to Wi-Fi via the phone.

I'm assuming this is because the Wifi network is not the default network for your App. If you are at this level, you can force a particular network using a custom Dns and SocketFactory.

But this is speculation without a repro project.

Both Dns and SocketFactory can be overriden, so closing this as supported.

In general this isn't something we can directly help with, so probably best asking on a site like stackoverflow.

This PR would make this mostly automatic - #8376 but not likely to land any time soon.
