Hi,
I see this problems with LocalDesktop 2.0.0 installed yesterday.
I follow the instructions from https://localdesktop.github.io/docs/user/creating-a-non-root-user/
The user created with "useradd" get the UID 1000, the same of "alarm" user. I force use the UID 1001 but fails too.
When you run "su - username", the prompt show "[I have no name!@hostname ~]$". After set the name in /etc/passwd the problem persist.
And trying to follow the instructions for get "yay" utility compiled, the "makepkg" call (with the new non-root user) fail in the DownloadUser step telling the user alpm not exist, but is in /etc/passwd and /etc/shadows...
Is my first contact with ArchLinux...
Thanks and best regards!,
