Crash on M4 Max

After following steps in the readme.md it first loads like normal, then machine freezes and crashes

A full-machine freeze is serious, but the issue needs the crash-log contents and build/model details in text before we can distinguish GPU OOM, Metal driver failure, or an engine bounds bug. Please add the commit, CMake flags, model filename/quantization, and the last console lines before the freeze. @mudler this should remain open for Metal triage.
