I decided to channel the rage and frustration caused every time I use my cooker into something creative.
Here, inspired by https://goulartnogueira.github.io/BadUI/ is my Date-cooker.
I've faithfully recreated much of the annoyances of my stove, repurposing the UI for picking a date.
- Spilling water (e.g. pasta overboiling) on stove causes buttons to count as 'pressed' or to become unusable until fully dried
- Wiping the stove top also counts as pressing buttons.
- The lock button, in real life, is far easier to hit by accident.
