This repository can be edited by either Codex or OpenCode.
Keep agent-specific context separated:
- Codex-only orchestration rules live in
codex.md. - OpenCode executor rules live in
opencode.md.
Do not expose codex.md to OpenCode unless the user explicitly asks for Codex orchestration internals to be shared.
When Codex delegates work to OpenCode, include only the task plan, relevant source files, and opencode.md constraints.
Use Codex direct execution for small, localized, low-risk edits.
Use OpenCode execution for medium or large implementation work, UI generation, broad refactors, debugging across multiple files, or when the user explicitly asks OpenCode to edit. Codex must provide a detailed executor brief; for UI work, Codex must also render and visually review the result before approval.
Do not report completion until the active path has passed its approval gate:
- Codex direct path:
codex-executorandcodex-reviewer. - OpenCode delegated path:
opencode-executorandcodex-reviewer.
Codex remains responsible for the final user-facing response.
