Description

It would be great if we can cast the desktop app to a TV (ex. Chromecast)

Then we wouldn't have to chose between performance and visibility :)

I looked into it for a few, FUTO fcast seems like a good option.

For the desktop app, native Chromecast integration would require a Tauri plugin wrapping the Cast SDK — significant work. The simpler path today: the web version at worldmonitor.app can be cast directly via Chrome's built-in tab casting (right-click → Cast).

@OnceUponALoop — is the request specifically for the Tauri desktop app, or would browser casting work for your use case?
