[Cinnamon]Using this theme with the "no icons in desktop" option makes wallpaper darker.

As title says, with Candra-Theme-Darker, that happens.
I use nemo with --no-desktop to prevent this.

Previous to 3.20 it was necessary to create a section to remove shading
and/or full color change of the Desktop when using it with icons. I didn't
find the issue as existing in 3.20, at least with Nautilus-Desktop. I
can't say I tried with Nemo or with Cinnamon.

Are you wishing to use Nemo with Desktop-Icons? Are you using Cinnamon?
Gnome? etc? Let me know what color version of Candra you are using as
well, if you would like me to try and work out a fix.

If you are fine with Nemo without Desktop-Icons than please ignore my
previous comments.

I use the 3.20 version, yeah, I just edited the .desktop file of nemo to prevent it from darking the desktop, however that's just an easy workaround.
And no, I don't want to use Nemo with desktop icons, deactivating the option in the cinnamon's control center makes the desktop almost black , but with the easy workaround the desktop's normal.
However if nemo updates, it will replace the .desktop file, thus making me edit again the desktop file.
