Wheezy .build issue

I have followed the instructions and when running the ./build.sh command it runs a series of checks and ends on this error:

make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
make: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop.

Not sure how to proceed.

usually there's an error during configure - if configure is unsuccessfull you end up without a makefile.
