@k37y I stepped through the code to see what was going on. It seems to me that the issue is that this particular CVE has no Affected Symbols listed in the go vuln db. https://pkg.go.dev/vuln/GO-2025-4188. It only has affected modules.

Poking around some of the other listed CVEs it seems that this is fairly common. I guess in this case we should just check for the module and flag the fact that symbols were not listed so we can determine our confidence level.
