Support for later version of jQuery

The supported version of jQuery has a number of security vulnerabilities. Any chance of upgrading this to use jQuery >3.0.0

Hi @jwsadler, have you tried it with jQuery v3? Perhaps it will 'just work'. I don't have any intention to work further on this plugin at this time.
