Is this package still active?

Is it recommended to still use this package? It looks like hasn't had a commit in 2 years and hasn't been tested on recent python versions. Does that just mean it's a finished product or is it not up-to-date/maintained?

I see there is also pyfixest, but that relies on Numba which doesn't support older intel-based macs; Edit: they say they're fixing that.
I was hoping to use Python, but if tooling is not welll-established I may have to switch to R.

I haven't heard complaints of this package not working any more (and you can always run its unit tests locally to be sure that it's working properly on your machine), but it is true that I haven't updated it in a long time.

At some point I'd love to discontinue it and point potential users to other, more actively-maintained projects (e.g. https://github.com/py-econometrics/within).
