WIP branch chore/wp5-deletions (preserved, PR #53 closed) — stale/conflicting vs main. Two parts:
Actionable (redo on current main): delete template-bootstrap cruft — setup.sh (curls rsr-template-repo), docs/QUICKSTART.adoc (template stub duplicating the QUICKSTART-{DEV,MAINTAINER,USER} trio), .machine_readable/ai/PLACEHOLDERS.adoc (the file the init recipe rms); repoint docs/0.1-AI-MANIFEST.a2ml; rewrite docs/RSR_OUTLINE.adoc from 'RSR Template Repository' self-description to a real snifs structural map. (main still has all of these.)
HELD — owner decision: scripts/validate-template.sh deletion. It is NOT a standalone delete — it's wired into benches/template_bench.sh, tests/e2e/template_instantiation_test.sh, TEST-NEEDS.md, and the Dustfile exit-condition. Removing it means unwiring those too, or keeping it. Owner call (flagged in the original wp5 commit).
