Error during install

When i try to install i got this error :

(1) You need to have a valid game database installed before installing MapleBit!

Can you help me ?

(I am just a passerby playing with peoples premade front-end solutions for my own server)

Make sure that your webserver is able to write within its own root directory. In my case, the files were owned by my personal user account and not www-data which is the user the nginx service (my webserver) was running as.

On Linux this means running a chmod, or potentially chown depending on the state of the files, and on Windows it's usually just a matter of unselecting the 'read-only' checkbox in folder properties.

The sanity checking on their script is a bit barebones and incorrectly thinks theres no valid tables in the db because the database.php file was never written to from the first step. (Since your server had insufficient perms)
