How to switch AWS role + MFA instead of using default account?

I can only find default and default-longterm in the dropdown

While I have several roles in my .aws/config, and I have to switch to those roles so that I can get access the AppSync in my company account.

BTW if there is MFA set, it will throw an AccessDeniedException.

Sorry, I completely missed this issue.

right now, the dropdown should show all your profiles from the ~/.aws/credentials file. The .config file is not taken into account.

MFA is not supported at the moment, but I have some plans to better support all sorts of authentication (MFA, SSO, etc).
As an alternative, I highly encourage you to use a tool such as leapp in order to manage your credentials/profiles.
Leapp will take care of all the auth stuff
