Can I paste with formatting?

When I use similar kinds of apps, be it Zettlr, Typora, Obsidian, AppleNotes, UpNote... I can paste at least some limited formatting. It will try to match headings to headings, bolt to bolt, etc.

Currently, when I paste in FSnotes, it strips all formatting completely.

Is there a way to make it work to accept formatting?

RTF is not supported; FSNotes is plain text editor that designed for markdown, and no conversion is available or planned.

Thank you for a swift reply. I understand rtf is not supported - in most of the apps I mentioned it's the same. They just convert rich text into markdown on paste. I find this incredibly useful; in our world one often starts with other sources that are in 'display' mode...
