Thanks for the great article! As an enthousiast it's nice to read such a clear guide to use ssh configs. I haven't used them yet, but for sure will from now on! Thanks a lot!

Just one question: the example config files you provided seem to have a clear structure, but how sensitive is it to both indents and casing? :)

Thanks for reading! From personal experience, the indentation isn't all too strict - in fact, I don't think it is even required, only recommened for readability. You do need to make sure your stanzas are properly seperated (the 'Host' blocks).

When it comes to casing for the SSH-options (for example, User in the configurations shown in the blog) - these options do not need to be capitalised either from my testing. It is important, however, that the values of your options are formatted correctly. Changing User to user works perfectly fine, but changing your username admin to Admin obviously won't work.

TLDR; it's up to your liking as long as your stanzas are properly set up! Feel free to mess around with that and see when you can and can't connect using SSH. You can tailor it to what is most readable and understandable with your configurations and habits :D
