Swift2 Impersonation page (My customers) only show when current user can impersonate anyone or is impersonating

A common feature request we recieve is to hide the my customers page (impersonation) for users that can't impersonate. This is a minor thing that doesn't cause problems for the customer, but they are still asking for it constantly. I understand that it could be solved with permissions if we have users that can impersonate in the same group, but we often don't. I have created the custom change to Vertical navigation and navigation before to hide this page from the template, since we don't have a permission that we can use that represents users that can impersonate someone.

I agree that it has often not made sense to show this page by default, as most users do not have access to impersonation.

This has also been one of the considerations behind the recent changes in Swift 2.2, where we have introduced a clearer separation between different user types such as regular users, account managers, and sales representatives.
With this structure, it becomes easier to control which pages are relevant for each role, including keeping impersonation-related functionality limited to the users who actually need it.
