subscribe to "nearest geohash" instead of graticules

Actually, having moved to norway now, I realize that what I really would like is to subscribe to multiple (home) locations and get the nearest n geohashes for these. That would allow me to monitor Berlin and Hønefoss and that possible North geohash somewhere in Troms.

If you add functionality similar to that provided by the AperfectBot e-mail system then I could deprecate it. I am much in favor of this, because it is older, less pretty, more manual labor intensive, and is very dependent on one specific machine to work properly right now.

It currently uses a system of subscribing to geohashes within certain centicules ("squares" on a 10x10 grid covering the graticule). This could either be provided as is (very simple to calculate if you are already calculating the coords), or relet's distance suggestion above could possibly be used as a replacement.
