Do not redirect when a localized version of the page is unavailable

Description

There are cases where the latest documentation page does not have a localized version in certain languages. If the content is essentially the same, I would prefer to refer to the previous version in my language. However, the current behavior redirects to the English version, making it impossible to view the older localized page.
In other words, the language selection feature does not work as expected in this scenario.
Please consider improving this behavior.
