Description
Laptop with external monitor
Using the awesome WM:
pdfpc pdfpc-demo.pdf: presenter view starts fine and appears to work as intended, however the presentation view has multiple issues:
- The presentation view on the external monitor appears to use the same dimensions as the internal monitor (laptop).
- The presentation view does not update when changing slide (presenter view does).
- Probably same issue as 2: When switching tags (virtual screen) from and back to the one with presentation view, the presentation view does not draw/update (just black).
- Clicking on the (dead) presentation view do change slides on the presenter view (but not the presentation view itself).
At at least one occasion, the presentation view actually switched together with the presenter view, but I don't know what caused it to work - Now I can start it 10+ times and cannot provoke it again.
Here's a screenshot of how it looks to me. The garbled part lower right is not visible though:

Using Gnome: (same machine, but login with a user running Gnome)
pdfpc pdfpc-demo.pdf: Everything appears to work...
Set-up:
Debian Stretch/Testing.
Linux kernel: 4.1.6-1
Awesome: 3.5.6-1
pdfpc: tried both 3.1.1+git.2.8a2f105-1 and 4.0.0-1
I would like to help debugging this further, but I'm going to need some help.
