Tags in github/docker hub are not maintained

I noticed that both github and docker hub are not following tag releases anymore since 18 months (0.10.0 release).
Is this done on purpose?

By which I assume you mean 8 months ago?

Largely because no releases have been cut. The images are there, but off of master branch.
We probably should get back to cutting releases.

Yes it was 8 months ago, small typo on that.
I use your image to backup a Mysql DB on prem.
I just think it's weird not to properly tag releases both on github and docker hub with the same tag (which should the release version), isn't it?

This image has 1MM+ downloads from docker hub, its predecessor has multiples of that. It is helpful to know how it is being used, if there are capabilities that it is missing or services that should be build on top of it.

Somewhat. We probably could (should?) tag them, but it hasn't been a roadblock until now.
