Validation report

  • 84 automated tests across 7 suites passed on 2026-09-22. They cover component dialogs, toolbar actions, read-only transitions, search/replace, HTML/JSON/Markdown/TXT import, all export formats, image URL insertion, image upload validation and callback outcomes, pasted/dropped images, pasted HTML sanitization, editor commands, and hostile HTML/JSON boundaries.
  • TypeScript strict checking passed.
  • ESM library and TypeScript declarations built successfully.
  • Production demo built successfully.
  • npm pack produced aksara-react-editor-0.1.0.tgz.
  • The tarball was installed into a separate empty project with React and React DOM. Importing its public entry and checking URL rejection succeeded.
  • npm audit reported zero known vulnerabilities on 2026-09-22. The previously generated machine-readable report in audit-report.json may reflect an older run.

Tests use jsdom. Actual browser interaction, cross-browser rendering, mobile/IME input, screen-reader behavior, and penetration testing were not performed. The demo build reports a bundle-size warning because it includes the editing engine, KaTeX, and format conversion dependencies. The library externalizes runtime dependencies; its own ESM output is approximately 28 KB uncompressed, excluding dependencies, plus approximately 8 KB CSS. KaTeX CSS/fonts are imported separately.
