CHIPS enables decentralised, peer-to-peer, trustless, on-the-blockchain, casino style games.
At the moment we are working on a poker game, which uses CHIPS and Pangea Protocol.
Pangea Poker is a truly decentralized, peer-to-peer gaming technology. It is the result of complex mathematics & software development with cryptocurrency implementation. The purpose is to build a new form of online poker experience which is trustless, secure, and immutable.
Our core focus right now is to make the game a multiplayer, hence there is no need to understand all the intricacies of the Pangea Protocol implementation and cryptographic details. If you like the job you can always study all of that in detail later.
More information on the project
- Very good understanding of C
- Preferable love and interest in blockchain
- Good communication (you talk to the team, you explain what you are doing, you plan your work, you make GitHub issues, etc.)
- Interest in the project
- Full-time/Part-time (at least 15-20hrs a week)
- The main task at the moment is to make sure the backend can handle multiplayer games
- The work includes working on C code to adjust the game to work as a multiplayer, coordinate with the GUI developer to make sure it works smoothly together
- Fix a couple of bugs when game freezes or throws Segmentation fault
- Check the source code and issues and make an estimation on how long will it take to make the game a working multiplayer.
Corresponding GUI which consumes the API is at https://github.com/chips-blockchain/pangea-poker
- Renumeration will be discussed with the candidate in person
