Roadmap check-in: what should we build next for CrossWatch?

CrossWatch covers most of the basics and more then that. What’s still missing for you? Say it straight.

Some Ideas on the table

• - Playlist integration (Watchlist-style UI). The scaffolding is there, but it’s paused until there’s real demand. I don’t use playlists, and many don’t. If you want it, what do you need beyond basic sync (ordering, multi-list mapping, import/export, per-provider rules)?
• - Mobile support: responsive layout, thumb-friendly controls, compact modals, run/schedule from phone, quick status/logs, sign-in flows that work on mobile.
• - Better SIMKL integration, integrate /playback-progress-manager/ into CrossWatch to manage your Playbacks
• - Watcher upgrades: for example “Now Playing” in the CrossWatch UI with live sessions (Plex/Emby/Jellyfin + Trakt/SIMKL)
• - Exporter polish: more presets, counts, search, one-click exports

Bottom line: what do you need?

Consider adding support for mdblist.com (https://mdblist.docs.apiary.io/#reference/sync) alongside Trakt and Simkl.

Hi! You're correct that this was a bug, but it's now fixed! The issue was that show-level ratings weren't being processed - the API was only looking for nested seasons/episodes.

1. Fixed, should return under Shows, not under Movies.

A great addition would be playstate sync across plex-emby-jellyfin although I have no clue if it's possible..

I know watchstate already does this but having it in CW would be nice.

Its technical possible. but thats a rather big change. You can create a feature request https://github.com/cenodude/CrossWatch/issues and will put it on the backlog. Before im going to extend CW it, existing features still needs to be stable and that isnt the case yet
