We should think whether ArchiveSpace digital objects have sufficient metadata for counting "objects added to repository"

Looking at https://apps.library.caltech.edu/ead2dc/collections when logged in, the totals row will not be good enough for this reporting. If a digital object is associated with multiple archival objects it will be counted more than once. See https://collections.archives.caltech.edu/repositories/2/resources/270/digitized and https://collections.archives.caltech.edu/repositories/2/resources/12/digitized as examples.

ArchivesSpace doesn't store anything like "Published Date" with system timestamps or anything. We could store a Date subrecord labeled Publication on the Digital Object, but there are a number of edge cases I can imagine where things could go awry. I'll talk to Archives about this.
