First, thank you for the great work on Voice Type, it’s an incredibly useful tool.
I’d like to request support for a native Windows ARM64 build. Currently, the application is only available as an x64 binary, which forces it to run under emulation on ARM-based Windows devices. While emulation works, it introduces unnecessary overhead and reduces performance and battery efficiency.
A native ARM64 build would provide:
- Better performance and lower latency
- Improved battery life
- Full compatibility with the growing number of Windows ARM devices
- A smoother user experience without relying on x64 emulation
If there are technical blockers, build-system limitations, or areas where community contributions could help, I’d be happy to assist or test ARM64 builds.
Thanks for considering this request.
