SSL certificate problem

Some of my students are trying to load the full contributions dataset using read_all_contributions() but are getting the following SSL certificate error. @mariumtapal or @beanumber do you know what's going on?

@mariumtapal proposed a stop-gap solution of having the students just download the larger files locally; I found the code in data-raw

Is this a problem with the SSL certificate on the FEC server??

This function seems to work fine on my end — this is/was probably an FEC server issue as @beanumber suggested.
