A grain of emulation with strange patterns

Hi,

As I looked more closely at the grain, I noticed that it consisted of repeating patterns that formed rather strange lines and shapes, which repeated vertically.

Photo 1 = photo zoomed in to 100%
Photo 2 = the same photo zoomed in, without the grain

Hmmm, that's odd indeed. What parameters are you using?

This pattern appears regardless of the settings used: even with the neutral profile, as soon as I apply a film grain effect, it’s there. In the example, I used an ISO of 6400 and the maximum intensity to make it clearly visible; if I lower the ISO, the pattern is still there, but it gets smaller and smaller.
