From 5baef0474f29d9adc7ddfcd525273885c7127c09 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Kit Chan Date: Sun, 25 Oct 2026 17:06:45 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] Upgrade node-app-1, node-app-2 and caching-app to node:20-alpine Express 5.2.1 and body-parser 2.3.0 (bumped in #379 and #381) require Node >= 18, and body-parser uses optional chaining that Node 8 cannot parse. The app pods crashed on startup with "SyntaxError: Unexpected token .", which has failed the Build and Integrate workflow since #378. Align the three images with node-app-3 and node-app-4, which already build from node:20-alpine.
