From 9ad40440ebe6eb716048c8cb02af6533476c3e1f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: JackieTien97 Date: Thu, 29 Oct 2026 14:30:36 +0800 Subject: [PATCH 1/5] Fix IT classes that are never executed in CI The sharded CI jobs built their failsafe.includesFile by grepping the source files for the category name, which misses classes that only inherit their @Category; the Windows 1C1D shards skipped seven of them. Build the lists from every class that failsafe picks up by default, as fully qualified names, and leave the category selection to the profile. Ten classes had no category, so no profile ran them; give them the categories of their neighbours. Rename IoTDBActiveRegionScanIT2, IoTDBActiveRegionScanWithModsIT2 and IoTDBTableViewAddColumnTest, whose names failsafe does not pick up. Fix what failed once these tests ran: - The schema quota tests did not wait long enough for a schema change to reach the quota (two heartbeat rounds), and not at all between test methods that share a cluster. - Since #18533 a table-model tablet whose FIELD columns are all null is rejected with 507; IoTDBSessionCompressedIT now asserts that. - Ignore IoTDBClusterMixQuotaIT#testClusterSchemaQuota2: auto-extending a device template checks the quota only against the receiving DataNode's devices, so the test fails with several DataNodes. --- .github/workflows/cluster-it-1c1d.yml | 18 ++++----- .github/workflows/pipe-it.yml | 40 +++++++++---------- .github/workflows/table-cluster-it-1c1d.yml | 14 +++---- ...DBRegionMigrateWithCompressionRatioIT.java | 6 +++ ...BRegionMigrateWithLastEmptyDeletionIT.java | 6 +++ .../db/it/aligned/IoTDBAlignedMemQueryIT.java | 7 ++++ .../it/query/IoTDBLoadEncryptedTsFileIT.java | 7 ++++ .../db/it/schema/IoTDBDatabaseQuotaIT.java | 4 ++ .../schema/quota/IoTDBClusterMixQuotaIT.java | 9 ++++- .../it/schema/quota/IoTDBClusterQuotaIT.java | 23 +++++++++-- ...IT2.java => IoTDBActiveRegionScan2IT.java} | 4 +- ... => IoTDBActiveRegionScanWithMods2IT.java} | 4 +- ...st.java => IoTDBTableViewAddColumnIT.java} | 9 ++++- ...IoTDBTableViewQueryWithCachedDeviceIT.java | 7 ++++ .../session/it/IoTDBSessionCompressedIT.java | 25 +++++++++++- 15 files changed, 133 insertions(+), 50 deletions(-) rename integration-test/src/test/java/org/apache/iotdb/db/it/schema/regionscan/{IoTDBActiveRegionScanIT2.java => IoTDBActiveRegionScan2IT.java} (93%) rename integration-test/src/test/java/org/apache/iotdb/db/it/schema/regionscan/{IoTDBActiveRegionScanWithModsIT2.java => IoTDBActiveRegionScanWithMods2IT.java} (93%) rename integration-test/src/test/java/org/apache/iotdb/relational/it/query/view/recent/{IoTDBTableViewAddColumnTest.java => IoTDBTableViewAddColumnIT.java} (88%) diff --git a/.github/workflows/cluster-it-1c1d.yml b/.github/workflows/cluster-it-1c1d.yml index 306455931901b..c3204b79323e2 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/cluster-it-1c1d.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/cluster-it-1c1d.yml @@ -109,22 +109,22 @@ jobs: netsh int ipv6 set dynamicport udp start=32768 num=32768 - name: Build IT shard list shell: bash - # Distribute LocalStandaloneIT test classes across 3 shards using hash-mod assignment. - # The list is written to a file so failsafe.includesFile can read it without command-line length limits. + # Distribute every IT class that failsafe would pick up by default (IT*, *IT, *ITCase) across + # 3 shards.
