Hello,
First of all, thank you for developing Leafpad. I love its simple design and ease of use.
I’d like to suggest a few features which, in my opinion, would further improve the app for users who prefer local storage and long-term access to their notes.
-
The ability to back up notes within the app and also to restore that backup.
-
It would be great to allow users to select a folder on their device where notes would be automatically synchronised in real time.
When a note is created, edited, renamed or deleted in Leafpad, the corresponding file in the selected folder would be automatically updated. Similarly, changes made directly to those files could be reflected in the app.
This would allow me to save my notes in (.txt) format.
In this way, we would have two backups: one in the app and the notes synchronised in the selected folder in (.txt) format, ready to use.
