[BUG] Transcribed text is not inserted in the app

Describe the bug

When concluding a dictation session via the shortcut key, the transcribed text appears correctly in the overlay view but is never inserted into the currently active application or text field.

Reproduction steps

1. Open Claude Code in the terminal
2. Place cursor in a text field
3. Press the dictation shortcut to start recording
4. Speak — transcribed text appears correctly in the overlay
5. Press the shortcut again to conclude the session

FYI I use Claude Code in Warp, and Claude Code runs with https://code.claude.com/docs/en/fullscreen enabled.

Expected behavior

After dictation ends, the transcribed text should be inserted into the currently active app.

Actual behavior

The text is not inserted and FluidVoice closed.

It only happens specifically in Warp actually. I just tested with nano, sh, etc. Same problem. I'm guessing this is because the terminal doesn't "look" like a textbox?

I use it on iterm and it works fine.. so it’s some specific terminal i think.. if you have time, test it out on iterm n lmk how it goes! We can try to solve it if it happens to you in iterm as well or not.

Actually same problem in iTerm2, even in the base shell prompt. Here's my config in case it helps:

Adding to this report – sometimes, randomly, my voice dictation ends up in the FluidVoice > Getting Started > Test Playground section, even though my cursor is in the intended app's text input box. If FluidVoice happens to be open in the background, I see it in there. Or if it's closed and I open it, I can still find it in there. But then if I try again in the app, the STT works. Then a little later, the same thing happens.

Same results, I moved back to Wispr for now.

The test playground captures any dictation you make. It’s not this or that type of thing. It is a copy of your dictation. So that is not responsible for this issue. We will look into iterm etc but i use iterm everyday and don’t face this. If you can help me with some sort of way to repro this issue, that would be great. Like custom configts etc.
