[Feature] Support for cloning with openkeychain missing

Hi,

I use the passwordstore app with a yubikey. More importantly, I connect to my git repo and pull/push changes with the same yubikey, using ssh authentication with gpg.

I had to switch phones today, and when using this app, the option to clone the ssh repo using openkeychain is gone. For reference, here is how it looked like on my old phone:

Can we please bring back this flow to the app?

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Setup a fresh application
2. Click on 'Let's Go'
3. Click on 'Clone Remote Repo'
4. See that there is no authentication mode using openkeychain

Expected behavior

There should be a way to authenticate to the ssh repo via openkeychain

Generally, my gpg key only exists on my yubikey, with no way to extract it from it. It would be fantastic if the support was not broken.

Thanks for your request. Hardware key support had been removed from APS when the PGP back-end switched from OpenKeychain to PGPainless, which happened well before I started maintaining this fork of APS. I am currently in the process of bringing YubiKey support back to the app, but this happens at a low pace, because it is not trivial. So please be patient.

Thank you for your response! I was not aware of this. I thought I was running the last release of the previous maintainer. It is interesting that they decided to abandon the project after a big refactoring.

In the meantime, I will try to find the apk my previous phone is running.

Thanks for taking over, it is fantastic to see that other people care about this app.

Yeah it looks like the last good version which covers key use cases (keys, local storage) was 1.13.5. These features were taken away in all later releases:

I'm still sticking with 1.13.5 until this gets added back. 'Crazy how much worse the app got after that version.

Folks, while I fully understand your disappointment, I would like to avoid that this issue becomes a place where people come to express resentment.

Let us be grateful towards @agrahn for taking over the development. Working with legacy code is anything but easy. Nobody blames you for the current state of this app.

I sincerely hope this issue will eventually get fixed, and I don't take it for granted.

That version came about before ownership transferred. I'm very grateful the app's development has a path forward. It's important for voices to express the importance of this feature and I hope it at least gets parity with 1.13.5 at some point, especially considering how old that build is.
