When I try to do it the normal way, the option is grayed out and I can't select it for some reason. Dunno if there's another way, but if there is, let me know, please.

It's supposed to be greyed out - the grey items in that menu refer to the item immediately below them. You should be able to type the unity version in the blank space immediately below the text. That said, you also don't have the current version there (I can tell because that text was changed to 'Custom Unity version' a few months back), if you're still having trouble you can try updating. |
