Spec: Step 5.12: HHChronic corrections needed

Now it sounds like DisabilityStatus (and other fields) should be used from the tlsa_Enrollment table. But in the Sample Code tlsa_Person table is used (both tables have DisabilityStatus, but the allowed values list are different for them).

Could you please update the spec to specify that these fields should be taken from tlsa_Person table?

Thanks for submitting this ticket, Natalie. The reference to the tlsa_Enrollment table in the HHChronic section has been in the specs for a while now. The original reference to tlsa_Enrollment in the HHChronic section may have been a way to describe the inner join between the tlsa_Person and tlsa_Enrollment tables. There are other sections in 5.12 of the specs that do this as well--like HHVet, HHFleeingDV, and HHAdultAge.

Given that the HHChronic section is embedded in the Business Logic for LSAPerson, I think the intent may have been that fields referenced in the table (Disability Status, CHTime, and CHTimeStatus) are assumed to come from tlsa_Person. We can potentially add a footnote to the table that's something to the effect of "Note that DisabilityStatus used in the HHChronic logic comes directly from tlsa_Person, but I want to stress that, based on the Sample Code and specs from previous years, there has not been a change to which DisabilityStatus field to use in the HHChronic logic--and that field is tlsa_Person.DisabilityStatus, not tlsa_Enrollment.DisabilityStatus.
