Thanks for 2.57.0. List folding (#848), foldable callouts (#853) and the find bar fix (#860) all work here on Windows, and with "Search notes in non-Vim mode" unbound, Ctrl+F now opens the find bar in Edit and Split every time.
Feature request: a find bar for Preview mode, so Mod+F searches the rendered note.
Today
The find bar belongs to the editor. In Split it opens only in the editor pane, and in Preview there is no way to search the note. The manual lists Mod+F for Edit and Split only.
Use case
I read most long notes in Preview: reference notes with several hundred lines, task lists and runbooks. To find a word I have to switch to Edit, which shows the Markdown source instead of the rendered text, search there and switch back.
Suggested behaviour
Mod+F in Preview and in the preview pane of Split opens a small find bar that highlights matches in the rendered text
Enter and Shift+Enter, F3 and Mod+G step through the matches, as in the editor
Escape closes it
Mod+F follows the "Search notes in non-Vim mode" binding, the same rule as in the editor since 2.57.0
Find only is enough, replace can stay an editor feature
A smaller step would already help: Mod+F in Preview switches to Edit with the find bar open at the position being read, similar to the double-click from #822.
Environment: ZenNotes 2.57.0, Windows 11 desktop app, Vim mode off
