Register values can't be changed in config. They are set from the files in the doc folder. Battery registers are from this document starting with page 19: Your debug file shows requests were made to the battery registers but the inverter never responded. You can try changing 57600 to 62820 in your installed code and see what happens. In the file Also keep in mind that SolarEdge does not officially support batteries over modbus like they do with inverters and meters: all battery info has come from unofficial sources (unpublished by SolarEdge). Only inverter and meter modbus info is an official published source from the SolarEdge website. |

Hi everyone - complete solar newbie here, TIA for any help!
I have SE7600 with 2x LG batteries. I have gotten the SolarEdge Modbus Multi integration talking to the inverter. I get the ModBus timeout/retry failure when selecting "Auto Detect Batteries". Reading a lot of posts I understand that SE firmware does not return on ModBus correctly for all batteries. That said, I have the log below. The I1M3 issue is a known issue on my setup, being looked at by installer. The problem with I1B1 though: looks like it is reading address 57600. Searching a bit on the net, I found somewhere that SolarEdge and LG battery uses "Common Register Range: 62820 - 63000 (Battery management, Power, State of Energy)". Is it possible to specify in YAML config or somewhere an alternate address list of where to look for batteries?
Thanks,
Shash
